Biography: I am a member of the department of economics at Syracuse and a senior research associate in the Maxwell School Center for Policy Research. Since 2007 I have been the managing editor of the Journal of Urban Economics. I have served on the council for the Urban Economics Association, the Board of Directors of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA), and also as an executive officer of AREUEA from 2013-2015 (2nd VP, 1st VP and President). From 2017-2021 I served as chair of the Syracuse department of economics.
